The Lancashire and Cumbrian Lune from Tebay and the Lune Gorge through Sedbergh and Kirkby Lonsdale to Caton, with club visitor permits for wild brown trout and sea trout. This is a different river from the Lune in Teesdale.
Check before you fish. Sedbergh & District AA sells visitor day and week permits online or at the Black Bull in Sedbergh. Tebay Anglers sells short-term permits in person at Orton Post Office or Bessy Beck Trout Fishery during its season, and Prince Albert Angling Society sells day tickets for its Caton beat at Woodies Café in Halton. Club and private water alternate along the river, so carry the club map. All Lune salmon must be released. An England and Wales rod licence is also required. Fishing and permit information.

Select a water or fishing location on the map or in the list to open its details, source links, river readings and weather. River readings describe the named gauge; the weather forecast describes the destination area.
River lines: OS Open Rivers. Named channels in this area are shown, including stretches outside bookable fishing. Small side channels may be missing. The outlines are simplified for display and do not mark beat boundaries, entrances or public fishing rights.
Fishing locations link to their sources in the selected-location panel. Beat markers and loch locations are not parking or navigation pins; approximate locations are labelled. Confirm current entry instructions with the fishery.
