How to read this map

Highlighted stretches run through, or along, land listed as open to the public: State Game Lands, state forests and parks, the Allegheny National Forest, the Delaware Water Gap, Army Corps land, county and local parks, and PFBC access areas. PFBC fishing easements (the strongly shaded strips) are private land where the public may fish along the stream. Dimmed stretches cross private land or land with no access information. Much private water in Pennsylvania is open to fishing by the owner's permission; respect posted signs.

This is a guide built from public data, not a legal determination of access. The public land data can miss narrow strips such as rail-trail corridors (for example along Pine Creek), and restricted-access land (shaded lightly) isn't counted as public.

Each section in the stream details links to its rule in the Pennsylvania Fishing Summary (PFBC)(checked 2026-10-12). Lake Erie tributaries (steelhead) follow their own rules; seePA Steelhead Alley.
